Sean Ronkoske is someone whose world revolves around the important people in his life. As a father, son, husband, and friend, he believes that he influences others just as much as others affect him – which means caring for others is key to thriving. Sean’s extensive professional history in real estate, as well as his personal life, ensures this.
Sean first became interested in owning his own business when he was a child. Growing up in Antioch, Illinois, he watched his father manage companies throughout his formative years. His father’s success ultimately influenced his decision to study business management at Purdue University. In 2011, he started his career in the real estate industry by flipping houses. Eventually, he realized that he enjoyed everything about the real estate process and wanted to make a difference in the lives of home-buyers. So, in 2011 he started his first real estate company – First Class Realty. This was a particular victory for him, as the opening of his real estate industry came right after the economic crash of 2008.
Initially, he started selling real estate in Wisconsin and Illinois. Sean’s company started small, but eventually expanded to over thirty team members. From the time the company started to today, he had one goal – to change the home buying experience for the better. He takes pride in his company for being a one-stop-shop for everything from brokers, financing, and more. This willingness to go the extra step for his customers was undoubtedly what earned him such a high ranking in the Chicago area. The Chicago Agent Magazine featured him in their “Who’s Who Roster” for the majority of the time he operated in the area.
With business growth comes new opportunities, which is what brought Sean from the midwest United States to Florida. Sean currently lives in Lakewood Ranch, which is now one of the number one places to move to in the state. Its population has grown by nearly 150,000 since the 1990s, with many thanks to the tourism industry. With the need for real estate brokers in Sarasota County in such high demand, Sean decided to take his generous and person-oriented approach to the local real estate market. What particularly interested him regarding the area was the incredible schools, access to golf courses, and the proximity to the highest-rated beach in the state. Sean loves this part of the country and is determined to help buyers see the potential in this beautiful area.
Sean is a member of the National Association of Realtors, and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert, and has both his e-PRO and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification. His company serves residential buyers and new construction customers mainly, but they do work with commercial buyers as well. When he’s not working on real estate or spending time with his friends and family, Sean helps with the Homes for Heroes program, which allows civil servants like veterans, teachers, and firefighters to purchase their dream homes at a price which is affordable to them.
